Located in Edmonton, AB, this project delivered surrounding pavilion grounds softscaping and site finishing for the award-winning, Marc Boutin Architectural Collaborative-designed John Fry Sports Park Pavilion—a high-use civic hub built to accommodate up to 5,000 tournament spectators—featuring precise site preparation and grading around the central courtyard and kinetic doors to ensure flush transitions, heavy-duty Turf Stone permeable paving in high-traffic gathering zones to combine reinforced green space with natural drainage, hardy, low-maintenance tree and shrub plantings and sod built to endure intensive event traffic and Edmonton’s severe climate, and seamlessly integrated pedestrian access to support long-term site performance and vibrant community sports use.
